ENOUGH

Tick-tock! Tick-tock! goes the dying red clock
While waiting for the cold body to knock
Confusion, stupidity, and bitterness
Domination beyond a hidden weakness

Waiting for the single key chain to bloom
Became the driving force that locked the room
The introduction was an unexpected departure
In the climax of this worthwhile adventure

by Xindi Russ

Five years of a clueless imprisonment
Birth of a living dead was never meant
But shadows of hope turn to insanity
Stirring the soul to impossibility

Unspoken speeches, yet aggressive dances
Friendship ties wouldn’t risk any chances
For the heart was left in somebody’s care
Sleeping under the roof of a long time dare

Enough! Pull me out of this painful chain
Before my breath and blood lasts a heavy rain
Enough! Give me back my wings to set forth
Away from the tide that journeys to your north

Bitter times fading away with the tranquil wind
Commencing a new life aiming to win
The long lost cheerfulness of my innocence
Living at the peak of my independence ■
